Terms and Conditions

Version 1.0 · September 2026 · swapzy.cc

In short

Swapzy is custodial: it holds the keys, so your balance is a record of what Swapzy owes you rather than a key you control. Your Discord or Telegram account is the account, which means whoever controls that account can move your funds. Blockchain transactions are final, the published fee schedule is the whole fee schedule, balances earn no yield, and nothing here is financial advice. You must be 18, and you can lose everything you hold here. Read Sections 4, 7 and 13 even if you read nothing else.

1The agreement

These terms are the agreement between you and Swapzy for the Swapzy Discord bot, the Swapzy Telegram bot and swapzy.cc. Using any of them means accepting them. If you do not accept them, do not use the service — and if you already hold a balance, withdraw it.

The privacy policy is part of this agreement and is worth reading beside it.

2Who may use it

  • You must be 18 or older.
  • You must be allowed to use a custodial crypto service where you live. Swapzy is not available where it would be unlawful.
  • You must not be a sanctioned person, or acting for one.
  • You must hold a Discord or Telegram account in good standing, and follow that platform's own rules.

Swapzy does not currently perform identity verification. That is a product decision, not a permission — the obligations above are yours whether or not anybody checks.

3Your account is your chat account

There is no separate Swapzy login. Your Discord or Telegram account is the account, and Swapzy acts on instructions from whoever controls it.

That has a consequence worth stating bluntly: if someone takes over your chat account, they can move your balance. Keeping that account secure — a strong password, two-factor authentication, not handing your session to a third-party tool — is your responsibility, and it is the single most useful thing you can do to protect your funds.

One person, one account. Do not operate accounts for other people, and do not use Swapzy to run a service on top of Swapzy without asking us first.

4Custody, stated plainly

Swapzy is custodial. It holds the private keys to the wallets your balance settles from. Your balance is a record of what Swapzy owes you, not a key you control.

In practice this is like using an exchange: you are trusting an operator to hold funds and honour withdrawals. It is not like using a hardware wallet. If Swapzy is compromised, becomes insolvent, or is compelled by a court, your balance is at risk in a way that self-custody would not be.

Swapzy is not a bank. It is not insured, not regulated as a financial institution, and holds no licence that protects your deposit. Do not keep long-term savings here. Keep what you intend to spend, and hold the rest somewhere you keep the keys.

5What the service does

Swapzy lets you hold, send, receive and swap supported assets across five chains from inside a chat client. Transfers between Swapzy users are ledger writes and never touch a chain.

And what it does not do, so there is no confusion:

  • No yield. Balances earn nothing. Swapzy does not lend, stake or rehypothecate your funds.
  • No credit and no leverage. You can only move what you hold.
  • No advice. Nothing Swapzy shows you is financial, investment, tax or legal advice. A quote is a price, not a recommendation.
  • No fiat. There is no bank rail, no card and no cash.

6Fees

The published schedule is the whole schedule. Sending to another Swapzy user is free. Withdrawals carry a flat per-chain fee. Swaps are priced from 0.25%, and stablecoin-to-stablecoin is 0%. Deposits of stablecoins are charged exactly the gas spent collecting them, with nothing added.

Fees are shown before you confirm, and a swap quote states exactly what you will receive. Fees may change; the current schedule is the one published on swapzy.cc and in the whitepaper, and a change never applies retroactively to a transaction already confirmed.

7Deposits, withdrawals and mistakes

Blockchain transactions are final. Swapzy cannot reverse one, and neither can anyone else. Several ways to lose funds are outside our control, and all of them are ordinary user errors:

  • Sending on the wrong network. USDT on Ethereum and USDT on BNB Smart Chain are different tokens on different chains. A deposit sent on a network we do not monitor for that asset is not recoverable.
  • Sending an asset we do not support to a Swapzy deposit address.
  • Typing the wrong destination address on a withdrawal. Check it. It will be sent exactly where you said.
  • Withdrawing to a contract or exchange account that rejects the deposit, which is between you and the receiving service.

Where recovery is technically possible we will make a reasonable effort, and we may charge the actual cost of doing it. Often it is not possible, and we will say so rather than leave you waiting.

Deposits credit after the network confirms — six confirmations on Litecoin, confirmation of the depositing transaction elsewhere. Withdrawals are dispatched within seconds of being accepted, but how long they take to confirm is the network's business, not ours. When a chain is temporarily short of an asset, a withdrawal is held rather than rejected, and it either resumes or refunds.

8Swaps and quotes

A quote states exactly what you will receive and lives 30 seconds. It is indicative: the rate is recomputed when you confirm, and if the market has moved past tolerance the swap is refused rather than filled at a worse price. Nothing is debited when a swap is refused.

Very small swaps are declined where the minimum fee would exceed 5% of the trade. That is a guard in your favour, not a fee.

Crypto prices move. The value of what you hold can fall, including to nothing, and a stablecoin can lose its peg. That risk is entirely yours.

9Tips and airdrops

A tip is an instant, free, final transfer between Swapzy users. There is no chargeback and no undo. Tipping the wrong person is a matter between you and them.

An airdrop pays a host's pot to entrants — split equally, or drawn at random when the host sets a winner count. Rounds close on the backend's clock. A round that nobody enters returns the pot; a pot that will not divide into a share worth sending is voided and returned. Hosts are responsible for how they run their own giveaways, including any promotion or gambling rules that apply where they live.

10What you must not do

  • Money laundering, terrorist financing, sanctions evasion, or moving the proceeds of crime.
  • Fraud, scams, phishing, extortion, or paying for any of them.
  • Using Swapzy for a gambling, lottery or prize operation that is unlawful where its participants are.
  • Running unauthorised automation against the API, or trying to exceed rate limits.
  • Probing, reverse-engineering or attacking the service, its infrastructure or its bots.
  • Exploiting a bug, a mispriced quote or an accounting error instead of reporting it. Balances arising from an error are not yours and will be corrected.
  • Operating accounts for other people, or structuring transactions to disguise who is behind them.
  • Anything unlawful where you are.

11Suspension and closure

Figure 1A frozen account can still be talked about; a closed one has already been emptied. Freezing is a pause for investigation, not a forfeiture.

Swapzy may suspend or limit an account where it reasonably suspects a breach of these terms, where an account appears to have been taken over, or where a valid legal order requires it. Where we can tell you why, we will.

A suspension is not a forfeiture. Funds are withheld only for as long as an investigation genuinely needs, or where law obliges us. If an account is closed for any reason other than a legal obligation to hold the funds, the balance is returned.

You may close your account at any time by withdrawing your balance and asking us to close it.

12Availability and change

Swapzy is provided as it is. It depends on blockchains, chat platforms, node providers and market data feeds, none of which we control, and any of which can fail. Maintenance happens. Chains halt, congest and fork.

Assets, chains and features may be added or withdrawn. If an asset is withdrawn, you will be given reasonable notice and a way to move your balance out.

13Risk

In one place, so it cannot be missed:

You can lose everything you hold here. Custodial risk, price volatility, a stablecoin losing its peg, a chain failing, a compromised chat account, or your own mistake in an address are each sufficient on their own.

Use Swapzy for what you intend to spend and move. Not for savings, and not for money you cannot afford to lose.

14Warranties and liability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent the law allows — including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a purpose, or uninterrupted operation.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Swapzy is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, for lost profits, or for losses arising from price movements, network failures, third-party services, or your own instructions. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the value of the fees you paid Swapzy in the three months before the event.

Nothing here excludes liability for fraud, for wilful misconduct, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded where you live. Consumer rights that apply to you are not displaced by this section.

15Indemnity

You agree to cover Swapzy against claims, losses and reasonable costs arising from your breach of these terms, your unlawful use of the service, or your infringement of somebody else's rights.

16Tax

Your tax is yours. Swapzy does not withhold tax, does not file on your behalf, and does not issue tax statements. Your transaction history is available to you; what it means where you live is between you and your own adviser.

17Changes to these terms

These terms change as the service changes. The version and date at the top say which one you are reading. Material changes are announced in the support server before they take effect, and continuing to use Swapzy afterwards is acceptance. If you do not accept a change, withdraw your balance and stop using the service.

18Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Emirate of Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and disputes are subject to the courts of Dubai, United Arab Emirates, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection in your own country.

Before that, please talk to us. Most problems are a transaction that needs looking up, and they are resolved faster in the support server than anywhere else. Formal notices: [email protected].

These terms describe the service as it runs today and are written to be read rather than skimmed past. They are not legal advice, and where local law gives you stronger rights than this document describes, the law wins.
